Who we are
SevenHills Fabrication Limited (“we”, “us”) is a sub-contract fabrication and laser cutting company. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Registered in England and Wales, company number 11162599. Registered office: Holbrook Industrial Estate, New Street, Holbrook, Sheffield, S20 3GH.
What we collect
Mainly business contact details: your name, job title, company, work email, phone number and address, plus what you tell us in enquiries, quotes and orders, and records of our dealings with you. Our website forms collect the details you enter. If you receive our emails, we record whether they are opened or clicked.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To quote for, deliver and invoice work, and to manage your account – contract (or steps before one).
- To keep accounting, tax and other records we must keep – legal obligation.
- To answer enquiries, run and improve our business, and send business-to-business email about our services and news – our legitimate interests.
Email marketing and unsubscribing
We send occasional emails to business contacts at companies we deal with or that have enquired with us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email sales@sevenhillsfabrication.com. Once you opt out we stop, and keep only a note of your address so we do not email you again. If you are a sole trader or partnership, we will only email you marketing if you have agreed to it or are an existing customer.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who act on our instructions: Mailchimp (Intuit) for email, Microsoft 365 for email and documents, our accounting system, couriers and hauliers for deliveries, and our professional advisers. We may also disclose data where the law requires.
International transfers
Mailchimp is based in the United States. Transfers rely on the UK–US Data Bridge where the provider is certified, or otherwise on the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, so your data stays protected to UK standards.
How long we keep it
Customer and order records: six years after the end of the financial year they relate to. Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to two years. Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe or the contact goes inactive, after which we review and delete.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it (including an absolute right to object to direct marketing), and to have it transferred. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.
